Welcome to the Pals July, 2018 Blog Hop. We’re having a Pattern Party. This month our creations will feature our favorite Designer Series Papers and coordinating embellishments from the new annual catalog from Stampin’ Up!
You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I had so much fun with my card to today’s Blog hop! I have been having a good time with this amazing bundle, as you have probably noticed. Yes, this is probably the 5th or 6th card I’ve made using the Varied Vases Bundle.
I used a piece of the Call Me Clover cardstock for my card base. Then my main layer for my stamped images is a piece of Whisper White cardstock. I started off by stamping the stems in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then inked up the flower infills with Flirty Flamingo ink.
I used the Vases Builder Punch to cut out some different patterns from the beautiful In Color 2018-2020 Designer Series Paper. I cut three different vases, one solid Call Me Clover vase and three from the pretty DSP.
Turning these cut out pieces in different directions give you a completely different look and feel. I selected two of the stripe pieces and one of the small dot patterns which felt like it matched the scale of the rest of the card.
The finishing touches on the for this card is the little scalloped shelf using the longer strip stamp in Flirty Flamingo ink. Then adding this sweet sentiment, ‘You are simply the best!‘, in Memento Tuxedo Black.
Now it’s time to use the Blog Hop Line-up below to see what the rest of my Pals have chosen as their “favorite”. Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations.
Mark your calendars for August 8, 2018 when we Cut it Out! Participants will showcase projects featuring “cuts” from punches, Framelits, Edgelits, or Thinlits. Don’t miss the fun!

love how you put the patterns to work here.
Jackie, this card is so innovative! I love how you added the ds paper using the vase dies. Thanks for sharing 🙂
What a cool idea to turn the vase upside down, I love it!
What’s up, just wanted to tell you, I loved this article.
It was practical. Keep on posting!
The other day, while I was at work, my sister
stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a forty foot drop,
just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is
now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is completely off topic but I had
to share it with someone!
You could definitely see your skills in the work you write.
The world hopes for more passionate writers
like you who are not afraid to say how they believe.
At all times follow your heart.
Whoa! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a entirely different subject but it
has pretty much the same layout and design. Excellent choice of colors!
I have been browsing online more than three hours as of late, yet I by no means found any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty worth sufficient for me. In my
view, if all webmasters and bloggers made excellent content as you probably did,
the net will likely be a lot more helpful than ever before.
Awesome article.
Greate pieces. Keep writing such kind of info on your page.
Im really impressed by your blog.
Hi there, You have performed an incredible job. I will certainly digg it and in my view suggest
to my friends. I’m confident they will be benefited from this website.
I seriously love your site.. Very nice colors & theme.
Did you build this amazing site yourself? Please reply back as I’m attempting to create my own personal
blog and would like to know where you got this from or exactly what the theme is called.
Thanks!
Please let me know if you’re looking for a article author for your weblog.
You have some really great articles and I think I would be
a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d love to write some content
for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine. Please shoot me an email if interested.
Cheers!
