Today I have a fun new card to share with you for the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #291 – with a powerful duo of Honeycomb Happiness. This week’s challenge is a fun Color Challenge with our fearless leader and challenge host – Mary Fish! Each week the Pals Paper Arts Design Teams create fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in, be sure to come and join us using this fun color challenge.
To start today’s card I really wanted to use one of the Occasions Catalog stamp sets that I haven’t had the chance to play with yet. In fact I think there are two stamp sets still waiting for some love, but for now I pulled out the darling Apple of My Eye Stamp Set. When I saw that this challenge used Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush I simply HAD to ink up these little cherries! In fact I made my own sheet of cherry designer series paper, similar to the print in our 6×6 Cherry On Top designer series paper pack – just larger! I also used the fun In Color Envelope Paper Pack for the striped areas in Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush. I was almost finished when I realized that the card needed a bit more to finish it off so I pulled out the Pool Party 5/8″ Glitter Ribbon for just a bit of shine!

Beautiful job with the color Jackie. What a great card to send someone just because.
Such a fun card, Jackie! I love the way you’ve positioned these panels! Great use of these colors.

Love that you made your own DSP version with the cherries. Adding your panels provided the extra pop of color. Very fun card, Jackie…
Jackie, this is so darling! Love the cherries in Watermelon Wonder – wonderful choice!

Such a sweet card, Jackie!
Thanks for any other informative site. The place else
could I get that type of information written in such an ideal way?
I’ve a mission that I’m simply now working on, and I have been on the look out for such info.
It’s impressive that you are getting ideas from this piece
of writing as well as from our discussion made here.
When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and
now each time a comment is added I get three emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that
service? Thanks a lot!
Hi there! This post couldn’t be written any better!
Looking at this article reminds me of my previous roommate!
He always kept preaching about this. I will send this information to
him. Fairly certain he’s going to have a very good read.
Thanks for sharing!
