PPA 289 Hang In There JRDToday I have a fun new card to share with you for the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #289 – with a powerful duo of Honeycomb Happiness. This week’s challenge is a fun Color Challenge with our host Lynn Hoyt! Each week the Pals Paper Arts Design Teams create fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in, be sure to come and join us using this fun color challenge:

PPA-289-Feb25For this challenge I honestly wasn’t sure where to begin so to simplify things and hopefully inspire me I pulled out a sheet of cardstock in each color selected in today’s challenge. Then it dawned on me that I had just cut into a sheet of the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack in Blushing Bride that could work for this challenge. I actually made all the layers of this card in Pear Pizzazz, Night of Navy, and Blushing Bride before I settled on which stamp set I wanted to highlight. This really isn’t my typical starting point as I usually get inspired by a product or stamp set first and then get going on my creating. Once I realized that the Honeycomb Embellishments come in Blushing Bride the rest of the card came together quickly. This little balloon and these Honeycomb Embellishments got perfectly together, in face the entire Honeycomb Happiness Stamp Set is a sure fire winner in my book – plus earning it for FREE as a Sale-A-Bration Gift is a BIG plus too!
