Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for April. To celebrate Earth Day, this month we are showcasing projects that feature recycled, re-purposed, or earthy/recycling themed elements.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Rae Harper-Burnet at Wild West Paper Arts on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
There are so many possibilities with today’s hop and when I sat down to create I wasn’t sure where to being, but then I saw these darling paper containers I was given as part of my favor at my Cousin’s Baby Shower two weeks ago. Here is a photo of these little paper trays, inside one was a fabulous sugar cookie!
I took these containers and cut the accordion part and the circle base apart before decided how to move forward. At first I was thinking that it would go across my creation as an accent, but then I realized that it was curved and that wouldn’t work.
After a bit of thinking I decided to use it behind the Starburst Framelit Dies and the fabulous Starburst Sayings stamp set. When I first saw this stamp set I didn’t think I would us it too much, but once I got my hands on it I can’t seem to put it down! I love how this card turned out. I used Soft Suede cardstock as my card base and added many Dimensionals so that the focal image would pop off the paper. I also added some Pearl Accents to finish this card off.
The next stop is Lisa Ann Bernard at Queen B Creations on the Pals Blog Hop, I know she will have something fabulous to share! Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you next month!

This is an adorable idea and I'm going to give it a try with some of those paper liners I have stuck away!

Such a fun card & idea! Love it.
An intriguing discussion is definitely worth comment. I do think that you ought to publish more about this subject,
it may not be a taboo subject but typically people don’t
talk about these issues. To the next! All the best!!
