Today I have a card for you following the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #279! This
week’s challenge is a fun Color Challenge with Challenge Team #2! Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in, be sure to come and join us using this fun color challenge:
Today my creation for this color challenge features the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies! This is another item that I ordered during the Holiday Catalog preorder that has gone unloved until now. I love the different sentiment thinlits dies that Stampin’ Up! has been offering and the font for this set is spot on! The additional sentiment of ‘Merry Christmas!’ is from the Snow Place stamp set. I felt like the ‘Merry’ need a bit of something else. Now the card reads, “Merry Merry Christmas!”, which seems a bit more festive for me with this beautiful color combination. The ‘Merry Christmas!‘ has been stamped onto the Mossy Meadow cardstock in VersaMark and heat embossed in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder with a Heat Tool. My ‘Gold Foil’ for this challenge I couldn’t locate my pack of Gold Foil – I think it is still in a box somewhere, so I improvised and used a piece of the Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper and matched it with a Reindeer Paper Clip Embellishment for the finishing golden touch!
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you stop by again soon! Have a wonderful day! Oh, Jackie! The way you used the modern paper with the simple sentiment and reindeer clip really speaks to me!
What a fun combo for a delightful card!
Jackie, this is so cool! I always look at those type of paper clips and wonder how I'd ever use them. Here's how!!!
Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but
I’m having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for
something unique. P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
Hey! This is my first visit to your blog! We are a collection of
volunteers and starting a new project in a community in the same niche.
Your blog provided us beneficial information to work on. You have done a marvellous job!
Hmm it looks like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any tips and hints for newbie blog writers? I’d really appreciate
it.
I’m not that much of a online reader to be honest but your blogs really
nice, keep it up! I’ll go ahead and bookmark your site to come back later.
Many thanks
I was recommended this website by my cousin. I’m not sure whether this post is written by him as nobody else know such detailed about my trouble.
You’re wonderful! Thanks!
Great article.
An interesting topic and I’m glad to come across your page where I found some helpful insights. Check out my website UQ4 too, if you need additional resources about Cosmetic Treatment.
