There are so many amazing items in the Occasions Catalog this year so I had the hardest time deciding what to feature today. I eventually decided to showcase two stamp sets the first up for today is this soft and pretty creation using the Painted Petals Stamp Set. I was lucky enough to win this stamp set as part of a prize patrol at our Catalog Launch. I pulled out the Very Vanilla card stock and used touches of Strawberry Slush and Wild Wasabi to make this card come together. It seemed so elegant that I didn’t add any embellishments, but a simple one would work nicely as well.
For my second card today I have a creation using the fabulous Lotus Blossom Stamp Set which is part of this years Sale-A-Bration items. Sale-A-Bration is my favorite time of the year, in fact as a customer this was the time that I would order all the supplies I needed to get me though the year.
This card uses Strawberry Slush ink and cardstock as well as some Pear Pizzaz. Then to tie it all together I used the Strawberry Slush Thick Baker’s Twine. I stuck with a similar color combination, this time with some of the Whisper White. This card also has a simple and elegant feel too it, and most of the work is done for you with these lovely layers to these stamps. I love the detail that is shown when you layer these stamps together.
Be sure to check out all the amazing new items in our Occasions Catalog and our Sale-A-Bration Catalog, you will not be disappointed!
