Welcome to the November Pals Blog Hop, we are thankful you stopped
by. This month we are showcasing projects that show our thanks,
including both thank you and Thanksgiving themed projects.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Wendy Klein at Doggone Delightful Stampin’ on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at
any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to
blog so you see all of the amazing projects.
For my project today I wasn’t sure where to start, but I think I love where I ended up! I decided to share some fun Thanksgiving projects using the Curvy Keepsake Die. If you haven’t seen the fabulous Curvy Keepsake Die from the Holiday Catalog you are missing out. I got this die a few weeks ago and at first I didn’t pull it out to play, but as soon as I did I was hooked! The first project I created with this fun die were some tealight lanterns. The second time I pulled this die out I created this darling pumpkin!
That’s right the Curvy Keepsake Die can help you create all sorts of things! I used some of our Pumpkin Pie cardstock for the box plus I cut out some fun leaves for the pumpkin by using the Fall Fest Framelit Dies. Another favorite of mine from the Holiday Catalog! A pair of leaves were simply perfect to finish off this pumpkin that I added to the stem with a bit of our Linen Thread after I used or 1/16″ Hole Punch on each leaf.
I didn’t stop there for today’s hop. While I have shared the Pumpkin boxes already to some people and at an event I haven’t shared this next one…my version of a Turkey using the Curvy Keepsake Die! I used the Curvy Keepsake Die for the body of my Turkey and of course I used the Feather Framelits to create his tail, but that’s only the beginning. I also used our 1/2″ Circle Punch for the eyes, the excess from some 1/8″ Hole Punch for the pupils, the top of our Tree Punch for the beak, plus the Heart Punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack cut in half for the snoods. Isn’t he just darling!
I do hope you enjoyed what I had to share with you today, I think both project would be perfect to decorate for your Thanksgiving! The next stop is Dawn Tidd at Tiddbits from Dawn on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you next month.
