You might have guessed it – I have another birthday card to share today. This one features the Celebration Time Bundle, which to be honest I hadn’t noticed when first checking out the Catalog and making my list.
One of the biggest perks to this bundle is the fabulous Celebration Thinlits Dies! These dies come with tags and all the layering aspects to really create a fun tag for any celebration, especially birthdays. I decided to feature one of these tags front and center on my card.
For the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge I selected the diagonal that goes from the bottom left to the top right – Birthday, Die-cast, Ribbon. I picked the Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party, and Dapper Demin color combination since this card was for my brother and these colors pop so nicely together. Plus I used the lovely Lemon Like Twist Ombre Ribbon for my finishing touch.
The background on both the Dapper Demin layer and Pool Party card base are stamped with images from the Celebration Time stamp set. The banners are stamped tone on tone for the center strip in both Dapper Denim. Plus the little touches of ‘Celebrate‘ are featured in Dapper Denim and Lemon Lime Twist for the background.
If the Celebration Time Bundle is on your wish list, snatch it up now and earn a $5 Reward to spend next month! That’s right, Bonus Days are back and you don’t want to miss out!
I hope you enjoy my creation for this challenge. I can’t wait to play along with more challenges from this wonderful Design Team soon! Thank you for visiting me today! Have a wonderful evening!
June was a big Birthday month for me. It wasn’t my Birthday, but I had lots of Birthday cards to create for friends and family members. Today I thought I would share two quick and fun card I made recently.
Both of these cards feature our Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper and the same colors of Basic Black and Emerald Envy. The top card would be considered a ‘Step Up’ card – since these start out with the same pieces and one design has a bit more pop added to it.
The card bases in each are our Emerald Envy with varying sizes of a Basic Black mat. I am featuring our new Happy Birthday Thinlits – both using the cut sentiment front and center. The top card has an accent with the addition of one 2016-2018 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes in Powder Pink! A bit of a wow factor to really add that do to the ‘i’.
You can see with just a few small changes you can achieve a completely different look and feel to any card.
Thank you for stopping by to visit me today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared with and that you visit my blog again soon!
Before we headed out on Friday, I got the chance to work on a few cards, including creating one for the current Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge. It’s been a while since I played along with a challenge card, so I thought I would try this one out! The best part of Tic-Tac-Toe Challenges is that the possible are almost endless with options to work within.
This week’s challenge board was so much fun! I worked with the right side row and pulled out this beautiful stamp set called Floral Sentiments. I loved this set when I first saw it a few months ago and added it to the top of my list! If your like me, you might also a sucker for roses, so this set was always coming home with me.
This image is stamped in Basic Grey Archival Stampin’ Ink which seemed to grab on to all of the little pits and details of this stamp. I colored in these lovely roses with our Stampin’ Write Markers in Powder Pink, Blushing Bride, and Old Olive. Since this stamp is so detailed I used only a solid mounting layer in Blushing Bride and a So Saffron card base.
Hope you enjoy my creation for this challenge. I can’t wait to play along with more challenges from this wonderful Design Team soon! Thank you for visiting me today! Have a wonderful evening!
