You’re Delightful!

You're Delightful Jackie Diediker Stampin Up

Sometimes cards just fall into place by something unexpected, and it’s delightful. Honestly, this card came together from a previous card I created and by having these supplies on my work space. Yes, you heard it, everything happened to be sitting on my desk ready to come together.

The amazing new Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack has been sitting on my desk since I unpacked my first Annual Catalog box. Looking at the patterns included in this paper stack and how the sheets use all of the amazing roses drew in my attention. I am a sucker for roses. In fact I am sure I have shared that tidbit before, but it’s so true. I love all things roses, so this Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack was a must have!

I also had to pull out the new You’re Delightful host exclusive stamp set. These larger sentiments included in some of the wonderful New Annual Catalog stamp sets really make a statement that jumps out at you. These focal sentiments are fabulous and I hope we keep coming out with more and more of them! This card needed a bit of something to finish it off, so I reached out to the Old Olive 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon. The new Sheer Ribbons are so easy to work with and add a sweet touch to almost any project.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed the creation I had to share with you. Have a great day!

Oh So Eclectic Birthday

Oh So Eclectic Jackie Diediker Stampin UpGood Morning! I hope your getting ready to have a wonderful day. I thought I would share with you a fun birthday card I made recently. This card features all sorts of fun and the Oh So Eclectic Suite!

I inked up the wonderful Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set for the lone flower. Using a soft background to be a sweet way to layer the ‘Happy Birthday‘ sentiment. Pool Party Classic Ink Pad was the perfect way to evenly ink up the top of this flower, then using the Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Marker to ink up the stem. Layering the ‘Happy Birthday‘ sentiment from Guy Greetings Stamp Set in Night of Navy makes that sentiment the focal point on this card!

The Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies added the perfect touch of detailing. Then the Lemon Lime Twist 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon brought it all together. I am a sucker for adding bows on projects, but I think it helps finish off a lot of creations. Adding a bit of Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper for the card base was easy and so much fun! This jewel piece of DSP is just so much fun and seems to go with the flower and this touch of ribbon! I mounted this piece of Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper on some Emerald Envy cardstock, giving the entire card a fun background.

I hope you enjoyed what I had to share with you today. Be sure to stop by again soon!

Tic Tac Toe Stencils!

Enjoy Today Climbing Orchid Jackie Diediker Stampin UpCheck out this fun Tic-Tac-Toe creation! Yes, I took another shot at the fabulous new Tic Tac Toe Challenge #009 this weekend. I love the versatility that challenges offer and how they make you step out of your comfortable spaces too. It was also a great trigger to make me  use these fun stencils again! Here the current Challenge Board that I worked with, this time I worked with the bottom row:

One Layer Cards are so much fun, but sometimes I just think they need a bit more pop. For today’s card I decided to use one of our wonderful new stencils – Pattern Party Decorative Masks! Plus I added in some scoring to be the dividing line in the card.

Inking up the fabulous Climbing Orchid stamp set was so much fun! The Berry Burst ink added the pop I was looking for with the Orchid layering and a bit of Garden Green for the leaves. I thought they would look great together in these colors and with this stencil inked up in Blushing Bride!

I hope your enjoyed checking out my card for today, and take the time to check out the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Have a great day everyone!
