I really love this color combination, which was unexpected when I first saw this trio, but I love how bright these colors are! The Rose Wonder stamp set seemed like the perfect beginning for my card and I stamped away. I used a Bermuda Bay cardstock as my card base and added a Cucumber Crush mat layer before adding a Crumb Cake stamping layer! The accent flowers in a trio seemed like the perfect amount and these added leaves seemed to bring it together. I also just had to use this Bermuda Bay 1/8″ Stitched Ribbon it’s so yummy and fun! I do hope we see similar ribbons like this in the new catty.
Thank you for visiting my blog today I really had fun creating today’s challenge card. I hope you drop by soon and if you haven’t played along yet – be sure to join in on this week’s Pals Paper Arts Challenge! Have a wonderful day!

Festive Flower Pals Paper Arts 294 – Sketch Challenge
Today I have a bit of Festive Flower fun for you, one of the cards I worked on over the weekend for the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge! I can’t believe how close we are getting to our 300th challenge! This week we are at Pals Paper Arts Challenge #294 hosted by Dawn Tidd! Dawn has a fun sketch for us that I had a blast using!

I decided to go all purple for today’s card – no particular reason other than I really wanted to use this cute strip of heart designer series paper from our Have A Cuppa Designer Series Paper Pad! I love all the colors and variety in this paper pad, and this week it inspried me to create with lots of purple!
I used Perfect Plum for my flower which was built from the Festive Flower Builder Punch! This was the first time I used this lunch, and I must say that I love the results! The Perfect Plum paired with just a bit of Daffodil Delight for the flower center seem to balance each other. I also finished off my card with our Whisper White 5/8″ Organza Ribbon, such an elegant touch. This card also needed a sentiment, one that would really pop, one that seemed fitting for my heart and flowal creation. I reached for my Greatest Greetings Stamp Set and just knew that ‘My Amazing Mother’ was always supposed to be on this card specifically for Mother’s Day! I know my mom will love what I created for her!
Have a fabulous day! Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my creation today, I hope you enjoyed what I shared and maybe I inspired you to create something for Mother’s Day or that special lady in your life!
Pals Paper Arts Challenge – Grateful Bunch!
Today I have a fun new card to share with you for the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #293 – a softer side of spring. This week’s challenge is a fun Color Challenge with our host – Michelle Gleeson! Each week the Pals Paper Arts Design Teams create fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in, be sure to come and join us using this fun color challenge.
For today’s card I wanted to use these soft colors to make a serene card, and this trio really were perfect to do just that. I decided to use the Grateful Bunch Stamp Set and coordinating punch – Blossom Bunch Punch from the Occasions Catalog. I wanted to use these colors in some designer series paper as accents so I rummaged through my stash and decided on this soft stripe background paper from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper and a matting layer for my main image from the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Pad.
I also used some of the Mint Macaron It’s My Party DSP pieces to act as leaves behind my flowers. I love how easily these flowers layered when using the Blossom Bunch Punch! Now these darling flowers look great layered, but they were missing a final touch. Queue the Love Blossoms Embellishments Kit the Blushing Bride Enamel Glitter Dots were the perfect finish I was looking for!
