We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.Botanical Blooms Textures

For my creation today I decided to work with the stunning Botanicals Garden Designer Series Paper and the coordinating Botanical Builders Framelit Dies. I simply love the combination and the best part is that yes, these dies easily create textures with just a few simple cranks of your Big Shot! I wanted these Blooms to really pop of the page so I did several things to achieve this look. First off I used our Shimmery White Cardstock, which is a bit hard to see in this photo, but it looks even prettier in person because of the extra shine that is already on the cardstock. Then once these flowers were cut out using my Big Shot I carefully pulled the petals apart and added some ink using my Daubers in Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, and Cajan Craze – pulling off of the tones included in the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper.

Botanical Blooms Textures Close UpI used Dimensionals to make these multicolored flowers pop off the card base. I knew they needed something else, so I decided to make these layered flowers using another die from the Botanical Builders Framelit Dies, once again I used the Shimmery White Cardstock only this time I used my ink to almost cover the smaller blooms that were then attached using Glue Dots. The finishing touch is the darling Basic Jewel Rhinestones that add just another layer of shine. The entire card came together quickly, but the Blooms took a little more thought and prep.

I do hope this card inspires you to create with the fabulous Botanical Builders Framelit Dies. You never know what might come out of your hands when you Build flowers, especially with all of the amazing products Stampin’ Up! offers, but the exploration is half the fun!

Pals Paper Arts Challenge #299 – Graduation!

PPA299Today I have a fun new card to share with you for the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #299 – a mix of pastels and gold. For this week’s color challenge Peggy Noe is our host and she has selected a fabulous trio to work with! Each week the Pals Paper Arts Design Teams create fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in, be sure to come and join us using this fun color challenge!

PPA299For today’s challenge I thought a graduation card would be perfect! One of my cousin’s graduates from High School this month and her graduation party is this weekend which is perfect timing. I used the fun Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack in the gold strip and paired it with a Pink Pirouette mat and a Pear Pizzazz card base. I love how all three papers and colors came together! Then to add the graduation part I used the Large Number Framelit Dies which worked perfectly and cut them from some Pink Pirouette cardstock. I also add a sweet little Whisper White banner, again from the Large Number Framelit Dies and selected a ‘Congratulations‘ sentiment stamped in Pink Pirouette from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set.

Thank you for visiting my blog today I really had fun creating today’s challenge card. I hope you drop by soon and if you haven’t played along yet – be sure to join in on this week’s Pals Paper Arts Challenge! Have a wonderful day!

Pals Paper Arts – A Soft Trio of Colors!

13047690_1071866089552695_2265472862743573965_oToday I have a fun new card to share with you for the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #297 – a bit of pastels. For this week’s color challenge I am your host! I selected three colors that I thought were very soft and sweet together as a trio! Each week the Pals Paper Arts Design Teams create fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in, be sure to come and join us using this fun color challenge!

PPA-297-Apr21I wanted to use some soft, but bright colors for today’s challenge. We haven’t had too much spring weather, but we finally seem to be getting some here in Kansas so when I was reaching for a Stamp Set to use today it simply had to be the Circle of Spring! I used the Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight and Pool Party Stampin’ Write Markers to color in the wreath after stamping it in Basic Black Archival Ink. The lines are so crisp and clean with this ink – I love working with it! I wanted some shine on this card, so I used the Shimmer White Cardstock which is so much fun to see in action.

For layering I went with the Pool Party as my cardstock base with a Wisteria Wonder mat and a Daffodil Delight background. It needed a touch of something else so I added the ‘Hello Spring‘ sentiment, also from the Circle of Spring Stamp Set.

Thank you for visiting my blog today I really had fun creating today’s challenge card. I hope you drop by soon and if you haven’t played along yet – be sure to join in on this week’s Pals Paper Arts Challenge! Have a wonderful day!
