Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for November 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes. This month our projects feature items that are considered 3D, Box (es), Home Décor or Gift Sets. We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.
For today I wanted to share a 3D project I created for this past weekend’s event – On Stage Local in Kansas City, MO. I was lucky enough to be selected as one of the Display Stampers at Saturday’s event and one of the items I made was a fun altered box using one of the White Gift Boxed currently in our Holiday Catalog! I got the pleasure of working with the stamp set that was the all attendee give-away in Kansas City, So Succulent! This set combines so many fabulous two step-stamping images with succulents! I mean how can you go wrong?
It might be a bit hard to see, but the top of the box has two layers of this succulent that is curved and pops off of the top. Plus, there is the clear acetate sleeve around the four other sides to this box, protecting the other stamp and colored images. I tried to use springy colors and went with Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Perfect Plum, Sweet Sugarplum, and Peekaboo Peach on each side.
I will be posting various samples that I created to share over the next few months as we ramp up to our eventual Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration, but in the mean time these darling White Gift Boxes can be used for so many things! I keep thinking about all the fun treats I can package in one of these boxes. Honestly, the reason I thought to use one of these boxes was that I thought it would be a sweet addition to someone’s Easter basket, but a Christmas Stocking might be even better!
Thanks for visiting. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next month’s Pals Blog Hop!
