Friends Forever - First Sight PPA295Today I have a fun new card to share with you for the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #296 – Friends Forever! This week’s challenge is a fun Sketch Challenge with our host – Susan Itell! Each week the Pals Paper Arts Design Teams create fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in, be sure to come and join us using this fun sketch challenge.

I really love this color combination, and I love that it was featured as part of the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper. These colors – Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, and Blushing Bride work well together – then paired with our Sketch Challenge it’s a match made in heaven! I love how open ended sketches can be, and putting my own take on a sketch is something I thoroughly enjoy doing. For today’s card I simply turned the sketch on one side and ran with some bold and soft colors and of course this darling stamp set, First Sight. I think the fact that these lovely stamps match our Sweetheart Punch is just a bit of icing on the cake. It may be hard to see, but the background of this card is stamped in the same swirly leaf that can be seen under the Blushing Bride bird.
