Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for January 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes. This month we are showcasing projects using Stampin’ Up! products featuring a theme from any of the following: Valentine’s Day; Thinking of You; Get Well; or Sympathy. All of these themes come “From the Heart.” We hope you enjoy our creations.
For today I just couldn’t decide which creations to share with you today, but I finally settled on two very differed Valentine’s Day creations! The first one I am featuring is a card I made for an Occasions Catalog swap I participated in. I used some colors that I don’t typically pull from my supplies, but I love how they came together. The items from the Going Places Suite are so versatile that I love the range, plus I think they are a more masculine stamp set – which I always need! The Going Global stamp set has such a variety of stamps that it is hard to decide what to work with first. For this card I decided to feature the ‘Love‘ sentiment as well as the compass and then pull out the fabulous papers in the Going Places Designer Series Paper Pad. I also used my 2″ Circle Punch to mimic the compasses that adorn the background then ties it together with some of the Crumb Cake 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon.
You may or may not be able to tell, but this second card is a 3″x3″ card which I think is perfect for little notes and fabulous for Valentine’s! I wanted to create a soft and classy valentine which could be mass produced for cards to give to all of your loved ones. I pulled out the fabulous new Bloomin’ Love stamp set and used Rose Red Stampin’ Ink on this ‘My Valentine‘ sentiment. I also decided to use my Stampin’ Write Markers in Rose Red and Garden Green to color in the flowers I love how these came out – almost as if I had watercolored! Then I thought it needed something to finish off this sweet card and I pulled out my Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Pad and cut just a strip to add to the cards edge.

Two great cards for Valentine's day. I like how you shared a more masculine and feminine option.
STRIKING colors on the Global card!
Love that you did a feminine and masculine card and both are great. Really like your colors on the global card!
The Going Places suite is one of the best masculine themes in quite some time… I love it. Cards such as yours show how easy it is to provide a great masculine card. And I adore the feminine 3×3 card… so sweet!
Fantastic! My favorite is the first card with all the great color. TFS!
Hello, i think that i noticed you visited my blog so i came to go back the choose?.I’m trying to find things to improve my web site!I suppose its adequate to use
a few of your concepts!!
A motivating discussion is definitely worth comment.
There’s no doubt that that you need to write more on this issue, it
might not be a taboo subject but generally folks don’t discuss these topics.
To the next! Cheers!!
Definitely imagine that which you stated. Your favourite reason appeared to be on the net the simplest thing to consider of.
I say to you, I definitely get annoyed whilst other people think about concerns that
they plainly do not know about. You controlled to hit
the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side effect ,
people could take a signal. Will probably be again to get more.
Thanks
An outstanding share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a co-worker who was
doing a little homework on this. And he actually ordered me lunch simply
because I discovered it for him… lol. So let me reword this….
Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanks for spending time to
discuss this topic here on your web page.
Great post however , I was wondering if you could write a litte more on this topic?
I’d be very thankful if you could elaborate a little bit further.
Cheers!
Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of
hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?
