This month we are featuring spring related projects for Mother’s Day,
Easter or any other occasion that celebrates winter coming to an end.
on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup
below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the
amazing creations.
Today I have two cards that make me think ‘Spring‘! First off I have a lovely card to share featuring a few of our fabulous new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration items! My first card uses the wonderful Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper that I colored in using our wonderful Stampin’ Write Markers. I pulled out the 2013-2015 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers and our Regal Stampin’ Write Markers and took the time to color in different flowers and leaves in the same colors. I had so much fun doing this! I thought that this paper would look amazing in several colors, and this is a great way to get that effect. I also pulled out the fabulous Sale-A-Bration Best Year Ever Accessory pack and added a touch of ribbon to match.
For my second card I used the Something Lacy Background Stamp and paired it with the cake from the Your Perfect Day Stamp Set and more of our Stampin’ Write Markers. For the multicolored background I used my Classic Ink Pad in Crisp Cantaloupe then added additional areas of Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo using Daubers on the stamp directly before stamping onto my Whisper White Cardstock. I then colored in this cake with the fabulous Stampin’ Write Markers we offer. For some finishing touches I added a bit of ink, again with a dauber to the sides of the Deco Labels die cut stamp.
I think today’s cards are ‘Spring-y’ and fun! I hope enjoyed what I had to share with you today. I am so excited that Spring is here! Spending time outdoors is always a blast, especially when the flowers start blooming.
