we love – our favorite Stampin’ Up! products and our favorite crafting
techniques.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Wendy Klein at Doggone Delightful Stampin’. Use the full lineup below to move along from blog to
blog so you see all of the new projects.
My list of ‘favorites’ from Stampin’ Up! is pretty long and hard to select from. When it came time to decide what to feature today I picked two different creations using the same components. I decided to use one of my newest Occasions Catalog stamp sets right, So You Stamp Set, and paired it with a technique that is fairly new to me called Watercolor Bokeh.
I have created projects before with similar techniques, but this gives a fresh spin on water coloring. I wasn’t sure which color combination to go with so I decided to try two different combinations. My first creation uses the stamp ‘Smile‘ for the stamp set So You paired with Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, and Wisteria Wonder with a Pearl Basic Accent. I love how soft and pretty this card turned out and the touch of Pearls I think really brings it together.
My second creation uses the stamp ‘love‘ from the same So You stamp set paired with the colors Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, and Blushing Bride mounted on a Basic Black card base with a touch of Daffodil Delight 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon. I love the size of these sentiments in the So You stamp set. The Basic Black card base really makes this creation pop.
