More Works of Art!

I have two more fun creations for you today, again featuring the Work of Art stamp set from the New Stampin’ Up! Catalog! My shipment of catalogs just arrived yesterday. If you need one please let me know! If your local I can bring it by or if you need a copy mailed to you we can talk about plans!

Monday we had our monthly demo meeting and we all brought our Work of Art stamp set. My upline Sherrie pulled out a bunch of ink pads and some cardstock and we got to work! We each made one card and one bookmark. Bookmarks are so easy when you use the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch! On the first card I used Strawberry Slush, Memento Tuxedo Black, and Basic Gray inks for my design. My intention was to create a flower with the sentiment in the center. I think it worked out well. My bookmark I used Basic Gray, Coastal Cabana, and Island Indigo ink on my Whisper White bookmark base.

I do hope you like what I had to share today, I had so much fun working
with this new stamp set! I hope you stop by again soon! Have a wonderful day!

A Work of Art!

Last week on Monday evening I got the pleasure of seeing a New Catalog Launch in Kansas City. I was joined my three fabulous ladies who are all friends and fellow Demonstrators. We spent the afternoon in Kansas City for dinner and then headed to the theater to enjoy what Stampin’ Up! had planned for us. I really had a wonderful time! I have never been to a Stampin’ Up! event so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was so excited! We spent two and a half hours learning about lots of new ideas, techniques, and products. Then to close the night we were given our catalog AND a fabulous new stamp set called, Work of Art!

The next morning I out together my stamps and let my ideas sink in. What to do first? How to start creating something fun? I decided this weekend to pull out some of my card kits from past classes and see what could be created. The two cards I am sharing today were based off of card kits for the Oh Happy Day card I posted at the end of March that was a part of my April class.

Today I have the cards that I created with that kit to share. I had so much fun with these stamps! I love how easy these cards came together and how the images stamp so evenly. I don’t know what I plan to do next with these stamps, but I can’t wait to get the chance to sit down and enjoy them again! This stamp set isn’t available until June 2nd, but if you are interested in getting a sneak peak and making some fun samples, be sure to come to my Open House on May 29th!

I do hope you like what I had to share today, I had so much fun working
with this new stamp set! I hope you stop by again soon! Have a wonderful day!
