Pals Paper Arts Challenge #207!
I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #207 – Color Challenge. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in!
This weeks challenge is a color challenge!
I am using some fabulous new items on my creation for today! When I was first looking at this color combination I wasn’t sure where to start, but the more I thought about it the more ideas I got! I decided to use my Bloom with Hope stamp set from the New Catalog, this is one of this year’s Hostess stamp sets and it is gorgeous! I decided to with out the Midnight Muse (which retired!) to Night of Navy! I thought instantly of a 4th of July card, but then a thought this would make a fun card using my Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities. I love these markers! I also decided to pull out my Stampin’ Write Markers in the 2013-15 In Color Markers to use the Pistachio Pudding marker. I also used the Daffodil Delights Blendabilities for the fabulous flower centers too.
I do hope you like what I had to share today, I had so much fun working
with these colors! I hope you stop by again soon! Have a wonderful day!
Pals Blog Hop – In With the New!
Welcome to the June Pals Blog Hop. This month we are excited to show
off new Stampin’ Up! products from the just released 2014-15 annual
catalog and idea book. We hope you find great inspiration from the
projects. Get your wish list ready!
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Susan Itell’s Blog Simple Stampin Stop #2 on
the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below
will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing
creations.
When it was time to figure out what I wanted to share today I wasn’t sure where to start. There are so many amazing products in the New 2014-2016 Catalog and I wanted to share everything, but there are only so many hours in the day, so I had to pick. I settled on featuring some of our fabulous new Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper. Yes, I have always been a sucker for Designer Series Paper, but this Catalog is jammed packed with amazing designs that I have been drooling over! I paired these patterns with Tangerine Tango and Tempting Turquoise cardstock as well as this fabulous new Hello Honey 3/8″ Satin Stitched Ribbon! I am also using one of my favorite returning bundles, the Starburst Saying bundle plus the new Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits!
I know that I am using some of the ‘old’ colors and ‘old’ sets, but I think that the mix of old and new items in the Catalog really is a great thing and I love working with all of it! The returning items that I am excited about staying needed to be featured too! I do hope that you have enjoyed my creation for today, I had a blast putting it together!
The next stop is Christie Crosby’s Blog Stampin’ Creativity Stop #4 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you next month.
