Friends Become Our Chosen Family!
Good morning! Today is my monthly class and I still haven’t shared all of the creations from my January class. Therefore today I have a January Class share! We used these fabulous matching Stamp Set and Designer Series Paper.
I wanted to create a card that would show how great this new stamp set and designer series paper match. I had to pull the fabulous Blackberry Bliss shades with accents of Wild Wasabi in the stem, leaves, and the accent dots along the right side of the main image. I really like how this card came together with these layers and touches. The Painted Petals Stamp set is so much fun to use, and I simply love this sentiment, it hits home for me. ‘Friends Become Our Chosen Family’, simply fabulous!

Chalkboard Happy Birthday!
Good morning! Today is Friday, which means that it is almost time for the weekend, in fact this weekend is my local monthly stamp class. I enjoy being able to teach a class at least once a month. I realized as well that I hadn’t finished sharing all of the creations we made at my January class here on my blog.
My share today is a fun card I made using the Big Day Sale-A-Bration Reward Stamp Set and the super fun new Chalkboard Paper, Rose Coral Chalk Ink, and matching Confetti Celebrations Designer Series Paper! I think that Birthday Cards are always on my list of card needs and so seeing this fabulous Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set Big Day I was thrilled. This set is perfect for any birthday and in my thoughts it is also a must have set! I decided to try out the Chalkboard Paper and the Rose Coral Chalk Ink to make this sentiment and image pop then to add a bit of flare I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch. I also used scraps of Basic Black card stock to edge the Confetti Celebrations Designer Series Paper. I love how this all came together.

Pals Paper Arts Challenge – Color!
I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #239 – Color Challenge. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in!
This weeks challenge is a color challenge!
I had such a great time using these colors together! I paired the Petal Potpourri Stamp Set with the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set with these three fun colors Real Red, Soft Suede, and Crumb Cake.
I decided to use the same layout as the card I last shared here on Sunday, but I wanted more dimension. In order to achieve that I added intermediate cardstock layers and used one of the smaller stamps from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set that I thought would make a good background.
