Happy Father’s Day!
Good morning! Today is Father’s Day and I will be spending some of my day with my Dad. I thought I would share a grouping of cards I did one day all featuring the Guy Greetings Stamp Set. If you haven’t seen this set yet, I highly recommend it! It’s perfect for creating cards for any Guy in your life.
The set above are all cards that I was able to create using cardstock left over from classes and events I have hosted. Whenever I plan for a class I make sure to have supplies for a few extra people, just in case. After class I take all the unused cardstock and separate it by color and size for future classes or creations. For the set above I simply sat down with some containers I keep these pieces in and just started going to town. I made Congratulations and Father’s Day cards, all from the same set! I love how I used simply line stamps to make such a variety of cards from the same stamp set. If you have never tried a series of cards using the same stamp set, go for it! It can be so much fun to see everything coordinate together when you complete the process!

Pals Paper Arts #256 – Floral Wings Sketch Challegne!
I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #256 – Sketch Challenge. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in! This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge!
I had such a great time working with this sketch! In my last Stampin’ Up! order for my Open House at the beginning of this month I ordered the wonderful Host Rewards stamp set Floral Wings and I am simply in love! You will be seeing me use this set a lot, it is just so much fun! I am a sucker for butterflies and if you didn’t know Roses are my favorite so having them both in one stamp set was just too much to pass on for me! When I saw this weeks sketch I instantly thought about using the Banner Triple Punch, but then I started to go through my new stamp sets in my head and a light bulb moment went off when I saw the Floral Wings Stamp Set. The vine stamp in this set make is super simple to create linear patterns along a card front. I added the butterflies using my Bitty Butterfly Punch and then tied it off with a bit of the new Watermelon Wonder 1″ Dotted Lace Trim!

A Day or Two Late
Good morning! Today I wanted to share with you a card I made for the last Pals Paper Arts Challenge – PPA #255. I am a bit late in getting this posted, so it won’t be entered into the challenge, but I just had to share it!
I used the fabulous new You’ve Got This Stamp Set and paired it with the new English Garden Designer Series Paper. In fact, last weekend I made a few cards with this Designer Series Paper and I simply love it! The watercolor feel to all of these patterns and the soft tone of colors go perfectly together! I also pulled out our wonderful Subtles Collection Stampin’ Write Makers and colored in the large flower that comes in the You’ve Got This Stamp Set. The perfect pair – ink and markers!
