Pals Paper Arts Challenge #258 – Color Challenge!
I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #258 – Color Challenge today, these colors are so much fun together. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in! This weeks challenge is a color challenge!
I had such a great time working with these colors! I wasn’t sure where to start, until I started organizing my desk and I looked to see what was on my desk top. I had Watermelon Wonder 1″ Dotted Lace Trim roll, my yet to be opened Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and this scrap of 2015-17 In Color Envelope Paper – it’s like this card made itself! I embossed this piece of Cucumber Crush Cardstock, which was also found lying on my desk, with the Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder then cut from it the ‘hello‘ that comes as one of the three dies in the Greetings Thinlits Dies. I added the Watermelon Wonder 1″ Dotted Lace Trim and mounted it all on the Night of Navy card base. I just love how this one came together so quickly! The pop of these colors together works so nicely. I plan on using this trio together again soon!

Pals Paper Arts Challenge – Sketch!
I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #257 – Sketch Challenge. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in! This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge!
I had such a great time working with this sketch! I got the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set with my Demo Preorder in May, but I have been too busy to get the chance to really sit down and create a lot with this fabulous new stamp set. With today’s sketch I took the time this morning to create and I love how this card came together! I used the tree and flower stamps from the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set and paired it with the wonderful new Tree Builder Punch to create this scene. I also pulled out the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Pad which is just too much fun to pass on using! I used the colors Cucumber Crush and Pool Party to make this card pop and just to finish it off I added a bit of Cucumber Crush 1″ Dotted Lace Trim. This little tree is so darn cute and having a easy way to make clouds in a punch thrills me! Such a fun sketch to play along with to bring all these fun items together!

Ridiculously Amazing!
Good morning! Today I have a fun card for you featuring the stamp set Amazing Birthday! This card was a part of my Stamp A Stack class last month, and the best part of this particular stamp is that although it is included in a Birthday stamp set, it doesn’t have to be used for a Birthday card.
I wanted to create an inspiring card for part of my class, and this large sentiment was perfect! I pulled out our wonderful Regals Collection Stampin’ Write Makers and colored in this sentiment area by area until I got the desired pattern for the focal point of my card! Then I cut down the sentiment and mounted in on this Perfect Plum banner that I created using our Banner Framelit Dies. I also made sure to add just a touch of our luscious Sahara Sand 7/8″ Trim Lace, a fun and delicate touch to finish of this card. I went for a simple layout with pops of color.
