Crazy Above You Flower Frenzy!
Today I want to share with you a fun ‘Happy Birthday’ card I created as part of one of my Stamp A Stack classes recently. I simply love to create my own designer series paper, and that is exactly what I did with today’s share!
The Crazy About You Stamp set is such a fun set. It comes with these two fabulous flowers stamps and the matching stem, and if that wasn’t enough it also comes with an amazing stash of sentiments perfect for multitudes of creations. For this card I went with a simple ‘Happy Birthday‘ to match this lovely background. I used the colors Soft Sky, Cucumber Crush, and Crushed Curry to bring all of these images together and I also used a Lost Lagoon card base. The best part about cards like this is that they really create a lot of wow with just some simple stamping. I simply love the effect you achieve when using this stamp set to create your own designer series paper.

A Bit of Vanilla!
Good morning! Today I wanted to share with you a card that was created at my Stamp Club meeting last month! We had a blast with this color combination of Very Vanilla, Rich Razzleberry, and Blackberry Bliss!
Flowers, I simply love flowers. All shapes, sizes, colors, species…but the flowers that really suck me in are the ones that people use in their arts. This flower is part of our wonderful stamp set Butterfly Basics! I don’t know if you have seen a lot of samples with this stamp set using this flower image I know I haven’t, but it is simply beautiful. Could I have colored in this flower – of course our Stampin’ Write Markers would be perfect, but then you might not see all this detail under the coloring. I really wanted this flower to pop so I layered it onto a piece of Very Vanilla and accented the background using the You’ve Got This canvas type stamp for the added texture appearance. To finish of this card I used the new Blackberry Bliss 5/8″ Striped Cotton Ribbon – that happens to be on this week’s Weekly Deals! Pals Paper Arts Challenge – PPA 260 – Sketch!
I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #260 – Sketch Challenge today, these colors are so much fun together. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in! This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge!
I had such a great time working with this sketch! I recently got this stamp set and this sketch was the perfect excuse to get this set inked up! The No Bones About It stamp set really caught my eye when I saw it added to the new catalog. I just had to have it! I decided on greens – Wild Wasabi and blacks for this Triceratops today, he just makes me smile! These stamps were so easy to line up and this stamp fits so nicely inside the Chalk Talk Framelie Dies. When trying to decide what to use as as accent I decided to pull out this retired ribbon that I ordered once from the Clearance Rack and shared with a friend. I have a decent amount of this ribbon left and I thought this card would be perfect together. This sketch just called out to me for this No Bones About It stamp set and I simply love the results!
