Pals Paper Arts Challenge – Color Challenge!
I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #262 – Color Challenge today, this color combination really caught my eye. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in! This weeks challenge is a color challenge.
I had such a great time working with these colors! I kept going back and forth on what to use for this week’s challenge and I settled on creating a fun flower card featuring the Remarkable You Stamp Set and Go Wild Designer Series Paper Pad! When I first saw this stamp set Remarkable You, I knew I had to have it and I just couldn’t wait to start using watercoloing techniques, but when I finally sat down to work on this card I just had to reach for my Subtles Stampin’ Write Markers. I simply love how this card turned out, I think the introduction of the touch of an angle on the main image allows for a creation that draws you in, plus it gave a bit more space for the darling Metal Rimmed Pearls that I added to my card too. This was such a fun card to create!

Better Get Better
Good morning! Today is a big day over here, today we really being most of the moving that we need to do into our new home! We have been packing almost non-stop it seems which is why I haven’t been posting as often as I would like. Please accept my apologies. By this weekend we should be settled into our new home!
For today I have a fun card for you that we created as part of a Stamp A Stack class I offered to a wonderful group of 10 ladies as part of their Church Retreat. We had a blast, and the best part was that only two of the ladies in attendance had ever stamped before, but after our class together everyone left a stamper! We really did have a wonderful time and created a great variety of cards, but looking back through my stash, I realized that I never shared this creation with all of you. I simply love the texture that the Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing Folder adds and the Flower Shop Stamp Set and matching Pansy punch plus the Petite Petals Stamp Set and matching Petite Petals Punch really knock the overall card out of the park! I think this layout is a timeless layout that you will see me use more of!

Pals Paper Arts Challenge – PPA 261!
I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #261 – Sketch Challenge today, this sketch really caught my eye. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in! This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge!
I had such a great time working with this sketch! I kept going back and forth on what to use for this week’s challenge and I settled on creating a butterfly in flight card! I pulled out my Bitty Butterfly Punch, my Elegant Butterfly Punch, and my new Bold Butterfly Framelit Dies and created three darling butterflies! All three are cut and punched out of my scrap piece of Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack that I have been setting aside for when the time was right – that time was today! I added a bit of texture using the Arrows Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and made the card more playful by rotating the layers just a bit. If that wasn’t enough I ‘tied’ it all together with the darling Lost Lagoon 5/8″ Striped Cotton Ribbon! There are no stamps on this creation, but I love it all the same and it features so many of our amazing products too!
