Pals Paper Arts #277 – Sketch Challenge!
Today I have a card for you following the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #277! This week’s challenge is a fun Sketch Challenge with Challenge Team #2! Today my creation for this sketch used the gorgeous stamp set All Ye Faithful and the lovely Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I wanted to create something soft and pretty for today’s sketch challenge, and I am working on Christmas cards so I decided to combine to two. I love the Very Vanilla and Mossy Meadow combination some some gold touches – it all came together better than expected. In fact, I started off with the exact sketch, and for this stamp set the proportions just seemed off. I decided if I rotated the sketch it might work better and luckily it all came together. I think this card turned out nicely with clean edges. It was a lot of fun to use my Heat Tool and Gold Stampin’ Embossing Powder then adding just a touch of the Gold 1/8″ Ribbon across the card, the ribbon is even on sale right now!

Pals Paper Arts Challenge #275 – A Color Challenge!
Today it’s time to kick off the next Pals Paper Arts Challenge #275! This week’s challenge is a fun Color Challenge with Challenge Team #2! Each week the Pals Paper Arts design team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in, be sure to come and join us using this fun color challenge:
For this color challenge I wanted to create something fall inspired, but then I got sidetracked when I saw that I hadn’t shared any creations using the Market Fresh Stamp Set yet. Now, I have created cards with these lovely grapes, but I haven’t posted about them. I decided to ink up this fruit again in our wonderful new Basic Black Archival Ink and this time design the card on these lovely fall colors – Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist. After I colored the grape image from Market Fresh in with the 2014-2016 Stampin’ Write In Color Markers I wanted to create a background and used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. This background sort of took on a mind of it’s own, but I think it makes the grapes and the ‘Thanks A Bunch‘ really pop!
