For You – Pals Paper Arts Challenge #286

For my creation today creation I decided to feature some of the wonderful NEW Occassions Catalog items! I pulled out the gorgeous Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack for my Crumb Cake background paper and matted the layer on the same. I had colored in this pretty bloom from the Birthday Blooms stamp set on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and added the ‘For You’ in Blushing Bride with a trio of pearls.
I simply love to color, so I pulled out my Subtles Stampin’ Write Markers for this lovely bloom from Birthday Blooms! I used the Blushing Bride, So Saffron, and Old Olive to achieve this tonal flower and I am pretty happy with how it all came together. This set is one of my favorite stamp sets that has been released in the Occasions Catalog, it has so many versatile uses, please it carried a lot of pop!

Bloomin’ Love Perfectly Artistic
Good morning! Today I have a darling card to share that we created at my last monthly class in January. If you don’t know each month I host a class where we make 2-3 cards and a project, the next one is February 19th – details can be found under my Events Page!
I wanted the class to have a chance to work with both the Bloomin’ Love Framelits Dies and the oh so pretty Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper, which is a gorgeous combination. We also added some of the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to the entire Bloomin’ Love Framelite, to give the heart a shine. Now, so that we avoided having any problems working with this detailed die we also used the Precision Base Plate and the Big Shot Die Brush – both fabulous additions to your stamp room or supplies! While detailed dies can sometime be hard to work with, the addition of these two items helped the entire class breeze through working on this pretty card.

Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge – PPA285!
Today I have a card to share with you for the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #285! This week’s challenge is a fun Color Challenge with Color Challenge Team – and I am the host of the week! With the unveiling of our new look Pals Paper Arts now has a weekly host – the host has created the sketch or color combination we will all be featuring! Each and every week the Pals Paper Arts Design Teams create fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in, be sure to come and join us using this fun Color Challenge:
For my creation today creation I decided to feature some of the wonderful NEW Occassions Catalog items! My card features several new items, each one more fun then the last! The soft floaty images in the background were created from using the Timeless Textures Stamp Set. This set is perfect to add texture to any creation and stamped in Tip Top Taupe it sets the stage for the focal point – a large Watermelon Wonder heart cut from the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies. I have been loving using the Bloomin’ Heart Thinklits Dies, just this die can make an entire card quickly, but how you accessorize it is the trick! In this case I added darling little Pearl Basic Jewels and layered it on some Watermelon Wonder1″ Stitched Satin Ribbon and a piece of Top Top Taupe 1″ Dotted Lace Trim. II think all of these items together created a soft and fun combination!
