Pop of Pink and PPA 308!
Good morning! Today I thought I would share a fun card that was part of my Stamp Club Class last month. I have been loving all of the darling flamingos I am seeing everywhere. I think it is fabulous that Stampin’ Up! was ahead of the curve when this Pop of Paradise Stamp Set!
I also used the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge PPA308, by our host Ann Schach. Ann made such a fun sketch, I had a great time. I used the Pop of Paradise Stamp Set – both the Flamingo and the fern stamp and embossed both in Gold Embossing Powder. I also used just a touch of the Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper and a few Gold Enamel Dots. These new Enamel Dots are so much fun to use, I love the little touch of shine these add to any creation.

Pals Paper Arts Challenge #307 – Thinking of You!
Today I have a fun new card to share with you for the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #307 – a mix of Night of Navy, Real Red, and Pool Party. For this week’s color challenge Brian King is our host and I love the contrasting colors he choose for us work with! Each week the Pals Paper Arts Design Teams create fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in, be sure to come and join us using this fun color challenge.
For my card today I decided to pull out the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set, which is jus so neat to see in action. I decided to use the large flourish in the Pool Party ink for the background and I think it works well. Then for more pop I used the Thinking of You stamp from the Host Set Time of Year, which is a photopolymer stamp set. I love layering with photopolymer stamps, it makes the process so simple and easy. I used the Night of Navy ink and then layered the main panel with a Real Red border and a Night of Navy card base. I also used Very Vanialla as my main panel, which is a bit atypical for me, but it needed something different and Very Vanilla seemed like just the right fit.
