Stampin’ Up! is still doing Weekly Deals! Each week they discount a select variety of items for everyone to enjoy! This is a great way to take advantage of some special prices on a range of items each week. This week they have added the 3/16″ Corner Rounder Punch and the Silver Encore Pad which I just love! I will be placing an order this morning if you see anything you would like and you can always order 24 hours a day on my Stampin Up! website!
I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #191 – Color Challenge. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in! This weeks challenge is a color challenge that includes: Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie, and Whisper White.
When I saw the color combination I almost fell over. I haven’t pulled out Pumpkin Pie in years and I don’t recall ever using Gumball Green. In fact I wasn’t even sure I had one sheet of paper (since I know I don’t have the ink pad yet) that would work for Gumball Green, but I found some! It seems I stocked up on my In Colors even though I didn’t remember doing so. I really wanted to play with these fabulous Perfect Pennant Stamps and Banner Dies, so I decided to stamp the sentiment ‘You Make Me Happy’ on the Whisper White banner. I also used this fabulous Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper, I usually use the balloon side of this paper but I think that this patterns goes perfectly with this weeks Pals Paper Arts Challenge!
I do hope you like what I had to share today, I had so much fun working with these colors! I hope you stop by again soon! Have a wonderful day!
On Saturday I hosted an Open House to get people familiar with Stampin’ Up! products and to get the chance to meet me. Each person who stopped by had a chance at a Door Prize and got to create today’s card. If you notice this is the same card layout that I posted on Tuesday for the Pals Blog Hop with an entirely different look and feel.
I changed the color combination from the Real Red, Whisper White, Crumb Cake and Coastal Cabana to Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party and Crumb Cake. I also featured the Sale-A-Bration designer paper that was a huge hit, in fact one of my customers placed and $50.00 order and just had to have more of this paper pack. This card uses so many great products and although these lines don’t always go together I think that this card really turned out nicely. I will be hosting a Card Class next month that will include two cards and one project! Be sure to email me at jackie.diediker @ gmail.com if you are interested in learning more!
Have a fabulous day and thank you so much for stopping by! Be sure to stop by again soon!
