Pals February Blog Hop – What We Love About Stampin’ Up!

Welcome to the Pals February Blog Hop. This month we are excited to share with you what we love about Stampin’ Up! – our stamps, tools, accessories and techniques!

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Lisa Ann Bernard at  Queen B Creations on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

For my creation today I am sharing with you the color combination I LOVE featuring some of my favorite new products! I LOVE how Stampin’ Up! has such a variety of colors and options with each color for you to use. The color combinations that you can come up with seem endless! I am using some great new products in the Occasions Catalog, if you haven’t flipped through that catalog yet what are you waiting for?! There are so many amazing new products to try out and enjoy. Please contact me if you need a catalog to enjoy.

My card uses the color combination of Real Red, Whisper White, Crumb Cake and Coastal Cabana. I also used a sheet of the new Designer Series Paper Stack called Fresh Prints. This entire Fresh Prints stack has so many fun designs that I have been enjoying, but this one pattern really caught my eye. I used one 2″ high strip of paper from the piece of Designer Series Paper and then punched each end with the new Scalloped Tag Topper. I then stamped my sentiment from the Perfect Pennants set in Real Red and ran that piece through my Big Shot using the Deco Labels Collection Framelits Dies. I then layered all of my elements and added flowers I punch out in Real Red using the new Petite Petals Punch and using some dimensionals and completing the look with some Pearl Accents centers. I finished this creation off with another pair of Pearls and some Crumb Cake 1/2″ Seam Binding.

I do hope you enjoyed my creation for today, I will be using this same layout for the Open House I am having this weekend. If you can join me I would love to have you there too!

The next stop is Alison Bilohlavek at Ribbon and Brad on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting and  I hope to see you next month.

Pals Paper Arts #190 – Color Challenge!

I got the chance to play along with the current Pals Paper Arts Challenge #190 – Color Challenge. Each week the Pals Paper Arts team creates fabulous samples and invites their readers to join in! This weeks challenge is a color challenge that includes: Blushing Bride, Rose Red, and Basic Gray!

I decided to go the Valentine’s Day route with my card today so I pulled out my cardstock, inks, and stamps and got to work. I used this fabulous flower stamp from my Peaceful Petals stamp set and I also used this fun sentiment from the Tags for You stamp set. I am so glad that the Tags for You stamp set is still available, if you don’t have it yet it is such a versatile stamp set and having the matching Label Bracket Punch makes it a quick and easy go to item.

I do hope you like what I had to share today, I had so much fun working with these colors! I hope you stop by again soon! Have a wonderful day!
