Welcome to the May Pals Blog Hop! This is the first hop on a new day – the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Before we celebrate the release of the new Stampin’ Up! catalog next month, we want to take time to say goodbye to our favorite retiring products. This month we are showcasing projects that feature stamps or accessories that are retiring along with the 2013-14 Idea Book & Catalog at the end of May.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from #3 Debbie Pierce at Stampin’ Sunshine on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog.
When I was trying to decide what to feature for today’s hop I kept going back and forth. There are so many amazing items that I have loved working with that will be retiring at the end of this month. It is always hard to say ‘goodbye’ to items that you grow to love, but the best part is that there is always a promise of new and exciting things to come! Today I am taking time to send off the 2012-2014 In Colors that I was finally starting to love! It takes me a while to get into the swing of new colors because I have so many favorites that I like to work with over and over again that’s it hard to pull out other colors outside my comfort zone.
When I joined Stampin’ Up! this year I made a point of starting to use some of the colors I didn’t already own, and the 12-14 In Colors were in that list. I have loved the Primrose Petal, but I wasn’t so sure about the rest. The more I use these colors the more that I enjoy them! Now, I am bummed that they are leaving us! I pulled out one of my favorite stamp sets and created these fun Kit-Kat holders with the In Colors.
I simply loved the thick Twine from Sale-A-Bration this year, and I just had to use it again in Summer Starfruit! Plus, the Little Leaves die is so versatile and I love using it so I had to feature it again. I did use some of my favorite current products as well. So many fun things to order, and you still have time for some items! I hope you like my treats, I had so much fun creating these and I think the gals enjoyed them too!
The next stop is #5 Nancy Gleason at My Stampin Space on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you next month.

Jackie, these are great. Very clever use of the In Color DSP too. I love those petite petals.
Cute and yummy way to say goodbye to those colors!
They're so pretty! Love the colors together. My favorite is the Gumball Green. I love the twine too, and was happy to see it in the new catalog!
