Sale-A-Bration Kick Off Blog Hop!
Welcome to the Sale-A-Bration Kick Off Blog Hop! This year’s Sale-A-Bration items are simply fabulous and I can’t wait to share them all with you!
Today I wanted to share this fun card using the Party Pandas stamp set – one of the fabulous Sale-A-Bration reward sets! These cute little Pandas are just too cute for me to stop playing with! I used the Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends to color in the sweet little balloon. I even made sure to leave a small ‘gleam’ on the balloon uncolored to give a more realistic affect.
The card base features a bit of Sweet Sugarplum and then a Berry Burst layer under the new Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. I love the darling little hearts and the touches of gold finish on this specialty paper. Plus, I added a sweet little bow using the Berry Burst 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
Sale-A-Bration kicks off on today January 2nd and goes clear until March 31st. You are not going to want to miss out on all the fabulous new products and items to earn! It really is the best time of the Stampin’ Up! year!

Happy Birthday Florals!
Good morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday break, or that you’re still enjoying one. I had a lovely holiday weekend filled with lots of fun and traveling. I am currently working on Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Catalog creations, which I promise to share soon, but I have a fun Happy Birthday card for today!
Year round we need Birthday cards to celebrate with our family and friends. So, after the Holidays start to settle down I kick back into making Birthday cards again! Today I wanted to share a fun card I made and featured earlier in the year as part of a class offering. This card features a fun patterned paper I created using different images from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set.
To create the depth to this stamped DSP I pulled out Powder Pink, Berry Burst, Fresh Fig and Sweet Sugarplum. These four pink and purple tones work so well together. For each flower used in the pattern I switched to a different color for variation. I also used the lovely Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack for the matting of the stamped DSP and the background layering.
A sweet Delicate White Doily and a bit of our Fresh Fig 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon was all this card needed for the finishing elements. Oh! Plus no Birthday card would be complete without a fun sentiment! This ‘Happy Birthday’ is from our Guy Greetings Stamp set that was punched out using the Pretty Label Punch! I think that both this stamp set and punch are perfect additions to any of our products!
